[Core Duties]

-Develop and execute strategic comms plans to amplify Greenpeace East Asia's campaigns, including co-creating stories with campaign teams, proactively pitching English broadcast and print media
-Develop and maintain close, productive relationships with key journalists and broadcasters in international traditional media particularly in the East Asia region
Identify opportunities for proactive and reactive communications and coordinate with other departments, Greenpeace offices and Greenpeace International to implement project strategy and work plan
-Develop and draft crisis plans, media strategies, reactive media statements, talking points, FAQs, memos, crisis simulations and other deliverables as needed for crisis response
-Stay abreast of the latest trends in communications, traditional and new media, and identify opportunities to adapt Greenpeace work accordingly

This is a regional position, so the contract period varies depending on the .

- Korea : 2- year contract (As per internal policy, all new staff begin with a 2year contract. Upon compltion of the 2-year term, transition to a permanent contranct or contract ending depends on evaluation results).

Taipei, HongKong, Beijing, Tokyo : 3-year contract
